Sea Container Transport
The transport section of our company specializes mainly in the transport of sea containers. Here, in addition to road transport, we offer intermodal and environmentally responsible transport solutions via rail (rail / truck) and or inland waterway (road / barge).
We can do this through collaboration with several barge and rail terminals that have connections to the national and European network.
Intervervoer Mermans operates mainly within the BENELUX areas, northern France and the Ruhr area of Germany. We are specialized in transport to and from the seaports of Antwerp, Zeebrugge and Rotterdam.
Our daily capacity consists of more than fifty tractor-trailer combinations.
We have multi-chassis, which can carry 20′, 30′, 40′ HC and 45′ containers and the required 20′ and 30′ tipping chassis available for unloading bulk products.
Expedition & Forwarding
As a freight forwarder, we offer worldwide door-to- door transportation and provide precarriage, ocean vessel transportation and oncarriage.
Intervervoer Mermans operates as a One Stop Shop for all your import and export shipments:
- Full Container Loads (FCL)
- Less than Full Container Loads (LCL)
- FOB Agent
- Breakbulk Cargo
- Project Cargo
- Dangerous and non-dangerous goods
Herefore we use the various shipping modes of transport: road, rail, barge, deep-sea transport and air.
We focus on synchromodal transport solutions and are committed to sustainability and CO2 reduction.
We take care of all required transport documents and fulfill all your customs formalities.
Value Added Logistics, Warehousing & Consultancy
In addition to our transport activities, we also offer several value added logistic services. We can provide stuffing and stripping of containers, but also lining, packaging and handling of full and empty containers with a reachstacker.
We take care of your cross-docking activities as well as warehousing of goods both in open air and indoors.
Additionally, we have our own garage for maintenance and repairs of our vehicles and trailered units.
